A.L. Turner serves in Collin, Denton, Ellis, Kaufman, and Tarrant counties

Andre L. Turner, attended Bishop College, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education.

He later attended Amber University, where he earned a Master of Arts in Professional Development, with an emphasis in counseling. Andre spent three years as a sixth grade teacher for Dallas Public Schools. He continued his focus on youth development, and implemented an ESL/GED program at Intervention Judicial Treatment Center in Wilmer, TX.

Andre then expanded his community focus, and became an adult probation officer with Dallas County. He served three years in misdemeanor courts that handle DWI, DWLS, possession of marijuana and theft by check. For the past six years Andre has served in County Criminal Court #11, which deals with assault and Domestic Violence. Through A.L. Turner Academics Intervention, he trains the public and private sector on stress management, classroom/discipline management, motivation techniques, and conflict and anger management in the workplace.
